Algupära

Turuleti 2020. aastal populaarse mitte-elektrilise Treadwelli lameda rooliga linnalinna jalgratasõsara, disainis Treadwell Neo Cannondale'i Ameerika meeskond Wiltonis, Connecticutis, ühe põhiteadmise ümber — enamik linnaliiklejaid ei taha jalgratast, mis näeb välja nagu elektriline jalgratas. Raam peidab aku alumiiniumtoru sees ja kasutab peaaegu nähtamatut Hyena MRC-250 tagaratas mootorit (250W, EL-i spetsifikatsiooniga 25km/h piirang) koos integreeritud 250Wh akuga. Kogu süsteemi kaal jääb alla 16kg, muutes selle üheks kergemaks e-jalgrattaks oma kategoorias. Treadwell Neo ühendub Cannondale'i mobiilirakendusega tegevuse jälgimiseks, hooldusmeeldetuletusteks ja vargusehoiatusteks integreeritud GPS-i kaudu EQ mudelitel. 'EQ' variandid lisavad porilauad, pagasiruumi, integreeritud tuled ja jalgrattatugi täielikuks pendeldamisvalmiduseks; 'Remixte' tähistab madalat astmega raami. Uuendatud 2024. aastal uuendatud mootori püsivaraga ja uute värvilahendustega, jääb platvorm Cannondale'i linna e-jalgratta strateegia põhiosaks aastateks 2025-2026.

  • Comfortable upright 'Ride-Easy' geometry on plush 650b x 47c tires; quality all-alloy build with hydraulic disc brakes
  • EQ trims arrive commuter-ready with fenders, integrated lights and front basket

  • Non-removable battery — cannot be taken off the bike for convenient indoor charging
  • Modest ~250 Wh capacity and limited climbing power; assist lingers slightly after you stop pedalling
  • Original Neo's single iWoc top-tube button is unintuitive and forces a hand off the bars to change assist
  • No rear rack and no eyelets to retrofit one; front basket capped at ~10 kg
  • Notable motor drag when coasting/unpowered, and fenders need regular re-adjustment; front rack was recalled for safety
