As a rough guide, a 1–3 year old mid-range bike in good condition sells for 55–70% of original MSRP. High-end models (Trek Madone, Specialized S-Works, Canyon Ultimate) hold value better — 65–80% after three years if properly maintained. Entry-level bikes (under €500 MSRP) depreciate faster: expect 40–55%. Winter months (Nov–Feb) are buyer-friendly; spring is peak seller season.
Safety and verification
Every seller has a verification tier badge — EMAIL (basic), PHONE (verified number), ID (Smart-ID / Mobile-ID / passport), SHOP (registered vendor). Higher tier = stronger trust signal.
