Algupära
The ZX-1 is Vitus's aero race flagship. The Evo version was developed in collaboration with aerodynamic specialists based at Silverstone Circuit — the UK home of Formula 1 — and claims a 45% drag reduction over the original ZX-1. The monocoque construction (frame manufactured as a single piece with no bonds or joins) is a technique borrowed from motorsport, maximising stiffness-to-weight and eliminating weak points.

Verdikt
+Tugevused
- Monocoque construction is genuinely stiff and light for an aero platform
- Aerodynamics engineered at Silverstone give real-world speed advantage in race conditions
- BB386EVO bottom bracket provides exceptional crankset compatibility and stiffness
−Nõrkused
- Race geometry is aggressive — not a comfortable all-day bike
- Aero tube shapes can transmit road buzz more than endurance-oriented round tubes
- Premium builds (Force AXS, carbon deep wheels) push total price well above Vitus's value positioning
