Turbowheel Lightning oli mitu aastat vastus küsimusele 'milline on parim jõudlusega tõukeratas alla 2000 euro?' eWheelsi poolt USA-s levitatud ja hallimporditud üle EL-i, Lightning pakkus kahte 1000W mootorit, 957 Wh (hiljem 1260 Wh) akut, hübriidrehve maanteel ja maastikul ning kinnitatud tippkiirust ~70 km/h hinnaga, mis järjekindlalt alistas Dualtroni sisenemistaseme jõudlusliini. See oli tõukeratas, mis õpetas põlvkonnale sõitjatele, et kahe mootoriga jõudlus ei pea tähendama 3000 euro suurust väljaminekut. Sageli kiidetud arvustustes kui 'oma kaalust kõrgemale tõusev', sõi Lightningi turupositsiooni lõpuks ära järgmine põlvkond Kaabo Mantis Pro ja NAMI Burn-e variante ning Turbowheel lõpetas vaikselt selle sarja 2023. aastaks. Kasutatud Lightningid jäävad populaarseks sisenemiseks jõudlussegmenti.

- Outstanding price-to-performance — consistently undercut Dualtron-class scooters while offering comparable speed and power
- Dual charging ports allow fast ~4-hour recharge despite the large 957 Wh battery
- Three selectable speed modes plus single-motor and Eco options make the power manageable for less experienced riders
- Heavy at 77 lb / 35 kg — too bulky to carry upstairs or commute with daily
- Weak headlight and taillight — poor visibility for night riding
- Non-adjustable stem height, uncomfortable for very short or tall riders
- No IP water-resistance rating — not safe for wet conditions
- Reported reliability niggles: post-trail squeaking, rigid grips/brake pads, occasional tire flats, sensitive throttle; discontinued so no current warranty/support
