X5S

Joyor is a Chinese electric-scooter maker that emerged in the late-2010s wave of budget-to-mid personal-mobility brands, positioning itself between throwaway no-name scooters and premium marques like Ninebot. The company built its reputation in Europe and North America on value: it undercut the established players while still shipping pneumatic tyres, disc braking and long-range batteries. The X-series (X1, X5, X5S) is Joyor's touring-commuter line, defined by larger 10-inch wheels that soak up road irregularities better than the 8.5-inch clones common at the price. The X5S sits at the top of that series as the long-range 'S' variant of the X5, adding a bigger 48V/13Ah pack and a 500W motor over the smaller X1. Launched around 2019 and sold continuously since, it has been reviewed heavily by independent outlets and remains one of Joyor's best-known models on the used market.
