PX-Series

Algupära
The PX-Series was released in 2018 as the successor to the outlandish P5X (nicknamed the "Tron Bike"), bringing a more practical long-course triathlon platform that retained the total-integration philosophy but shed weight and added travel-friendliness. While the P-Series targets UCI-legal racing and shorter-course triathlon, the PX throws the rulebook out — external equipment, massive storage, and a completely rider-optimised cockpit are the priorities. The splittable basebar was a particularly popular innovation for athletes who need to fly to race destinations.

Verdikt
+Tugevused
- Comprehensive modular storage system integrates nutrition without any aero compromise — a significant advantage in long-course racing
- Splittable basebar is a genuinely useful innovation for travelling athletes competing internationally
- DT Swiss ARC 1100 62/80 carbon wheels deliver competitive aero performance at dedicated triathlon events
−Nõrkused
- Non-UCI compliant design means the PX-Series cannot be used in draft-legal or standard road racing — a dedicated purchase
- Complex cockpit setup with multiple storage components increases setup time and potential for mechanical issues on race day
- Heavy storage system adds total bike weight compared to a minimal P-Series or P5 build
