The Lux Trail CF arrived in 2023 as Canyon's answer to the downcountry movement — riders who want a proper full-suspension cross-country platform but also expect to descend aggressively and use a dropper post. Canyon redesigned the entire suspension around a single-pivot hanging rocker for improved small-bump sensitivity, steepened the seat angle to 76°, and added a three-position remote lockout that locks both fork and shock with one flick. The result is a bike that can race XC in the morning and shuttle singletrack in the afternoon.
