Canyon launched the Endurace in 2014 as its endurance road platform — relaxed geometry, the VCLS split-shaft compliance seatpost, and (for the era) generous 25 mm tyres, sold consumer-direct from Koblenz. Over a decade it spawned an aluminium AL tier and carbon CF, CF SLX and CFR tiers, gained disc brakes and thru-axles (2016), then top-tube storage and adjustable-width bars (2023). With the 2026 CFR/CF SLX redesign — co-developed with Swiss Side for aero and called by Canyon 'the smoothest-riding road bikes we have ever developed' — the Endurace edged from pure comfort toward an aero all-road racer, controversially shedding much of its original endurance identity.

- Carbon platform (CF / CF SLX / CFR) + aluminium entry (AL). 2024 Endurace CF SL: carbon frame ~1.02 kg, 31 mm tyre clearance. AL = double-butted aluminium with carbon fork. CF SLX/CFR = highest-grade carbon, aero tube profiles; CFR ~100 g lighter than CF SLX.

- Full-carbon fork. 2024 CF SL: Canyon FK0098 CF Disc, 395 g, 12×100 mm thru-axle, 1-1/4" steerer, 31 mm clearance. AL uses carbon fork with broad shoulders (35 mm clearance).

- Build-dependent alloy/carbon. CF SL 8 (2024): DT Swiss Endurance LN alloy, 22 mm rim height, centerlock (852 g front / 999 g rear). AL 7: Fulcrum Racing 900 DB alloy, tubeless-ready, ~1950 g/pair. CFR: carbon aero wheels.

- CF SL 8 (2024): Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR 30 mm, tubeless-ready. AL 7: Schwalbe One 30 mm front / 32 mm rear. Modern Endurace runs 30–32 mm stock; CF SL clearance 31 mm, AL up to 35 mm, 2026 CFR up to 35 mm.
- Vedrustus
- Rigid (no suspension). Compliance engineered into the frame/fork plus the Canyon VCLS 2.0 (Visco Carbon Leaf Spring) carbon seatpost with ~20 mm of vertical flex on carbon models — a 'leaf-spring' seatpost, not a damper.
- Rooliplokk
- Integrated cockpit on higher carbon builds (internal routing). 2023+ generation offers adjustable handlebar width (Pace / two-position bars). AL uses alloy bar/stem with partial internal routing; CF SL uses Canyon alloy/carbon cockpit.
- Sadul
- CF SL 8 (2024): Fizik Argo Tempo R5, 245 g, paired with Canyon S15 VCLS 2.0 CF carbon seatpost (fliphead 13/25 mm setback, 220 g). Saddle varies by build.
- Geomeetria
- Endurance geometry: tall stack, moderate reach, ~73° head angle / 73.5° seat angle on M. Stack/reach ratio ~1.56. Size M ≈ 578 mm stack / 382 mm reach; L ≈ 611 mm stack / 387 mm reach. Most 'upright' of Canyon's road range (rider-position index 0.37). 2026 CFR shifted toward 'Sport Pro' racier geometry.
