Launched in 2019, the Woom OFF line entered a gap in the kids MTB market: genuine off-road geometry and components, but with the weight discipline woom applies to its whole range. The rigid carbon fork choice was deliberate — woom argued young riders benefit from feedback from the trail, not damped-out isolation.

- Rigid fork transmits more trail chop than the OFF AIR with suspension — may fatigue younger/lighter riders on rough terrain
- OFF AIR upcharge is significant if suspension becomes desired later
- Heavy riders near the top of each size band may find 140 mm rotors (OFF 4) borderline for steep descents
