9+
Algupära
VSETT käivitati 2020. aastal Minimotorsi (Dualtroni tootva Korea ettevõtte) sõsarbrandina. Kui Dualtron on premium-hinnaga ja suunatud entusiastidele, kes on valmis kulutama 2500-5000+ eurot, siis VSETT positsioneeriti väärtuslikuma alternatiivina – sama OEM-tehas, sarnane komponentide filosoofia (kahe mootoriga, kahe piduriga, kahe vedrustusega), kuid soodsamas 700-2000 euro hinnaklassis. VSETT 9+ sihtis konkreetselt 1200-1500 euro suurust magusat kohta: piisavalt jõudlust, et häbistada pendelklassi tõukerattaid, kuid mitte piisavalt kaalu ega hinda, et hirmutada peavoolu entusiaste. 2022. aastaks oli VSETT muutunud oluliseks tegijaks Euroopa spetsialiseeritud e-tõukerataste turul, mida müüdi pühendunud kaupluste kaudu (Voro Motors US, Falcon PEV Singapur ja kümned EL-i spetsialiseeritud edasimüüjad, sealhulgas Baltikumi spetsialiseeritud tõukerattapoodid). 9+ on järjekindlalt brändi enimmüüdud mudel – 'kuldse kesktee' tõukeratas tootevalikus.

Verdikt
- Dual-motor performance — 30%+ hill climbing without sweat, genuine sport-class acceleration. The single biggest reason to choose 9+ over commuter scooters. 30% climbs without modulating (Voro Motors)
- Dual hydraulic-coil suspension — significantly better ride comfort on Baltic cobblestone and rough pavement than rigid commuter scooters. Pre-load adjustable for rider weight.
- Dual mechanical disc brakes — proper emergency-stop performance. 3-3.5 m stopping at 25 km/h dry. Significantly better than drum + E-ABS-only commuter setups.
- Best value in the sub-€1500 performance class — same OEM (Minimotors) as Dualtron but at half the price. The 'gateway' scooter to enthusiast ownership.
- Robust folding mechanism — steel construction, no plastic wear points. Significantly more durable than Segway G30 plastic hook.
- Wide 220 mm deck — comfortable for both feet stacked side-by-side. One of the widest decks in its class.
- Strong specialist dealer support across Baltics — scooter.ee, eScooterShop.ee (EE), skuteri.lv, elektroskuteri.lv (LV), elektrinispaspirtukas.lt, motoland.lt (LT). Spare parts, warranty, and service all available locally.
- Weight — 27 kg is significantly more than commuter-class (G30 18.7 kg, Xiaomi 4 Pro 14.2 kg). Apartment dwellers with stairs, public-transport users, and anyone needing to lift the scooter regularly find this is the major daily friction point. carrying it up four flights is a workout (ElectricRide)
- 50 km/h on 9-inch wheels feels twitchy at top speed — small wheels exaggerate steering input. Many riders prefer to set max speed to 40 km/h via hidden display menu for stability.
- QS-S4 display defaults to voltage rather than battery percentage — not consumer-friendly. Requires hidden menu navigation to switch to percentage. New owners often complain.
- EV-Max app is community-developed and limited — not as polished as Segway-Ninebot or Xiaomi official apps. No cell-level battery diagnostic, no theft alarm, less reliable Bluetooth.
- Tubed tires — more prone to flats than self-sealing tubeless. Many owners convert to tubeless aftermarket (€30-50 in materials) but voids tire warranty.
- IPX5 rating is less robust than Segway-Ninebot G30 in practice — some 9+ owners report controller corrosion or display flicker after extended wet riding. Treat as 'shower-resistant', not 'all-weather'.
- Long stock charging time — 9 hours full. Fast charger (€80-120 extra) reduces to 4.5-5h. Some Baltic users add a second charger for dual-port simultaneous charging.
- No big-box retail presence in Baltics — VSETT only sold through specialist e-scooter shops. Means good technical advice at purchase, but no easy 'return to Euronics with receipt' warranty path.
- Cold weather range loss is severe — Baltic winter sub-zero temps drop range by 30-50%. Sub -10°C closer to 50%. Most owners switch to bikes Dec-Feb or accept the loss.

Seadus & registreerimine
All three Baltic states' relationship with high-power scooters like VSETT 9+ is in flux. EU-spec firmware (25 km/h capped) is essential for legal commute use. Unlocked 50 km/h firmware is technically illegal as PLEV in all three states. Several Baltic VSETT owners have been fined €40-150 for unlocked firmware caught during speed checks.
