Algupära
Tutvustati umbes 2011. aastal kui Trek'i spetsiaalne naiste sisenemistaseme maanteeratta sari. Lexa täitis lünga Trek'i süsinikkiust naiste rataste (Silque, hiljem Émonda Women's) all, pakkudes ligipääsetavat alumiiniumplatvormi WSD geomeetriaga. kõrge

Verdikt
+Tugevused
- Excellent value for money at entry-level price point
- Comfortable geometry for long rides and sportives
- Stable, reliable handling — not twitchy
- Carbon fork standard on most models delivers good road feel
- Impressively stiff frame for the price
- Light for an aluminum entry-level bike — ~9.4kg (Lexa 4) to ~10kg (base Lexa)
−Nõrkused
- Rim brakes only — no disc option ever existed, limiting all-weather performance
- No upgrade path — narrow tire clearance (25c), outdated standards make modern component upgrades difficult
- Entry-level brakes feel sluggish and require frequent adjustment
- Shimano Claris/Sora shifting described as 'clunky' on base/mid models

Ostumärkused
№ 01
Second-hand Lexa bikes are abundant and affordable. Look for 2016-2017 models with carbon forks and Sora or Tiagra groupsets for best value.
№ 02
Check brake pad condition carefully — stock pads wear quickly and replacements are the first worthwhile upgrade.
№ 03
The 2016 Lexa SLX Women's with IsoSpeed is the unicorn of the lineup — if found in good condition, it offers the best ride quality of any Lexa.
№ 04
Do NOT buy a Lexa expecting to upgrade to wider tires or disc brakes — the frame is limited to 25c rims and has no disc mounts.
№ 05
Check the bottom bracket for creaking. The English threaded BB is generally reliable but can develop noise if poorly maintained.
№ 06
If choosing between a used Lexa and a used Domane AL Women's at a similar price, the Domane AL is the better long-term choice due to disc brakes and wider tire clearance.
