Algupära

Stumpjumper on jalgratas, mis alustas mägirattasõitu — Specialized andis selle 1981. aastal välja maailma esimese masstoodetud mägirattana ja originaal on nüüd Smithsoniani instituudis. 43 aastat hiljem, 2024. aasta juulis, tõi Specialized turule Stumpjumper 15 — 15. põlvkonna ja suure konsolideerimise: varasem jaotus Stumpjumper (130mm) ja Stumpjumper EVO (150mm) ühendati üheks 145mm-tagumise / 150mm-esihargiga platvormiks, millel on reguleeritav geomeetria (65,5° kuni 63° peanurk) ja täiesti uus GENIE-tagumine amortisaator, mis töötati välja koostöös Foxiga. GENIE on peamine uuendus: kahekambriline õhkamortisaator, mis käitub põrketsoonis nagu spiraalvedru ja tõuseb löögi lõpus nagu õhkamortisaator — kaotades Specialise andmetel 57% vähem haarduvust kui tavaline õhkamortisaator.
