2020. Sneak sai alguse ROSE minimalistliku e-jalgratta — Sneak Plus — nime all. Nimi peegeldab kontseptsiooni: jalgratas, mis hiilib vaikselt läbi linna, näeb välja nagu tavaline jalgratas ja pakub diskreetset mootoriabi. See oli ROSE esimene tõeliselt urban-minimalistlik toode, mis erines traditsioonilisemast linna jalgratta esteetikast.

Tehnilised andmed
- Raam
- Hydroformed alloy (aluminium). HighStep (diamond) or MidStep (step-through) frame styles. Sneak Plus e-bike: alloy frame with battery integrated into downtube.
- Kahvel
- Full carbon fork with 12 mm thru-axle and three cage mounts. Standard across acoustic Sneak and Sneak Plus (carbon fork with cargo cage mounting points).
- Jõuülekanne
- Acoustic Sneak: 2×11 — Sneak 1 with Shimano CUES, Sneak 2 with Shimano GRX. Sneak Plus e-bike: single-speed Gates Carbon Drive belt (maintenance-free).

- Hydraulic flat-mount disc brakes (acoustic Sneak). Sneak Plus: Formula Cura hydraulic disc.
- Rattad
- 700c, 12 mm thru-axles front and rear, disc hubs.
- Rehvid
- Acoustic Sneak: 40 mm gravel-race tyres (gravel-like clearance, 35–42 mm compatible). Sneak Plus: Pirelli Cycl-e DT / Pirelli Angel DT Urban (puncture-resistant urban tyre).
- Vedrustus
- Rigid — no suspension. Carbon fork provides vibration damping; wide tyres absorb road buzz.
- Rooliplokk
- Flat handlebar, alloy stem (urban fitness / flat-bar gravel position). Sneak Plus integrates LightSKIN LED lighting into the handlebar.
- Sadul
- Urban/sport saddle on alloy seatpost. Sneak Plus integrates LightSKIN LED rear light into the seatpost.
- Geomeetria
- Modern hybrid / flat-bar gravel character — sporty but upright urban-fitness position. 4 sizes S–XL (covering ~155–198 cm). Diamond HighStep + step-through MidStep frame options.
- Kaal
- Acoustic Sneak ~10.2 kg (Sneak 2, size M, no pedals) up to ~13.3 kg (EQ builds). Sneak Plus e-bike 15.28 kg (size M); Sneak Plus EQ 14.7 kg.

- Full carbon fork standard across the range — vibration damping and weight saving
- Gravel-like 40 mm tyre clearance makes the acoustic Sneak more versatile than a pure city bike
- Maintenance-free, silent options: Gates belt drive on Sneak Plus, dynamo lighting and Q'AUTO automatic shifting on higher EQ trims
−Nõrkused
- Sneak Plus battery (250–252 Wh) is permanently bolted in the downtube — must charge the whole bike near a socket (problematic for Baltic apartment dwellers)
- Small battery → DOWNTOWN/Opticycles real-world range only ~30–50 km, single-speed inadequate for hilly terrain
- Original Sneak Plus has no rack, kickstand or eyelets and cannot be retrofitted — limited everyday versatility (only addressed on 2025 EQ)
- Rear wheel is difficult to remove on the Sneak Plus, making roadside puncture repair awkward
- Mahle X35+ hub motor is proven but aging — urbanbike.news wished for the newer X30 with a torque sensor; Formula Cura brakes need experience to modulate
