RidleyFenix SLiC

01
Algupära
The Fenix has been Ridley's endurance road answer since the early 2010s. The SLiC generation (2020+) brought full F-Steerer cable integration to the comfort category — previously associated only with aero bikes. The combination of a wide, stiff BB and diamond-shaped down tube for power transfer with a thin rear triangle and 27.2mm seatpost for compliance defines its character.

- Shimano 105 Di2, Ultegra 2x11, or Ultegra Di2 (build-dependent); BB86 compatible with Shimano direct-mount FD only — not Campagnolo or SRAM mechanical
- Pidurid
- Hydraulic flat-mount disc brakes
- Rattad
- 700c tubeless-ready (build-dependent)
- Rehvid
- Max tyre clearance 28mm; stock builds typically 700x25-28c
- Rooliplokk
- F-Steerer fully integrated cable routing; 27.2mm round seatpost (internal clamp, 8Nm torque limit); curved top tube for vibration absorption
- Geomeetria
- Endurance geometry: upright head tube, curved top tube, 27.2mm seatpost; headset Deda HSE IN-4 1-1/8 to 1-1/4; max 39mm spacers

Verdikt
+Tugevused
- Comfortable and compliant ride from 27.2mm seatpost + curved top tube without sacrificing stiffness
- F-Steerer integration gives clean aesthetics and aerodynamic benefit unusual for an endurance bike
- Wide compatibility across Shimano groupset tiers (105 Di2 to Ultegra Di2)
−Nõrkused
- BB86 press-fit standard can creak — more maintenance-sensitive than threaded alternatives
- Max 28mm tyre clearance is narrow for modern endurance trends
- SRAM mechanical and Campagnolo groupsets not compatible with the direct-mount FD
