Algupära
Kona introduced the Remote as its entry into the e-MTB market, drawing on the same trail geometry philosophy as the Process line but adding a Shimano Steps motor system. The Remote family spans 130mm and 160mm travel variants, targeting trail riders who want electric assist for longer, more exploratory rides without sacrificing the fun, playful character Kona is known for. The 160mm version bridges the gap between trail and enduro e-MTB categories, offering big-hit capability with a manageable 504–612 Wh battery.

- Shimano 504 Wh integrated battery (Remote 160 base); Darfon 612 Wh on Remote 160 DL. Removable battery cover resistant to trail debris.
- Ekraan
- Shimano SC-EM800 display (DL builds) or LED indicator (base). Compatible with Shimano E-TUBE app for mode customisation.

- Estimated 40–80 km depending on assist mode, terrain, and rider weight. No official Kona range figure published.
