Spectral:ON oli Canyoni esimene seeriatootmise e-MTB, mis lasti turule 2018. aastal populaarse Spectral maastikuratta elektrifitseeritud versioonina. See määratles Canyon e-MTB lähenemise: võta tõestatud maastikuratas, paigalda suure pöördemomendiga mootor ja häälesta vedrustuse kinemaatika ümber lisatud aku kaalu, mitte ei paigalda mootorit lihtsalt olemasolevale raamile. Praegune põlvkond kasutab 150 mm tagumist käiku koos 160 mm kahvliga, kasutab segarataste (mullet) geomeetriat 29-tollise esi- ja 27,5-tollise tagarattaga ning on standardiseerinud Shimano EP801 mootori (EP600 sisenemismudelitel) mitte Boschi — teadlik valik loomuliku pedaalimistunde ja häälestatavuse jaoks läbi Shimano E-Tube rakenduse. Kergekaaluline Spectral:ONfly variant kasutab TQ HPR 50 mootorit alla 19 kg maastiku e-jalgratta jaoks, mis sõidab lähemale tavalisele MTB-le. Aku mahutavus ulatub 900 Wh-ni täisvõimsusega mudelitel. - Spectral:ONfly offers a genuine lightweight option (~18.5 kg) with the silent, natural-feeling TQ HPR50 — one of the most fun, playful e-MTBs in its test field.

- Shimano EP801 produces an audible metallic clack/chatter on rough descents (Velomotion) — characteristic of the EP8/EP801 platform, not a defect.
- Full-power Spectral:ON CF is heavy at ~24-25 kg, more than some rivals running smaller 720-750 Wh batteries.
- Spectral:ONfly's 360 Wh battery is the smallest in its class — limited range and weaker on long/steep climbs unless the optional 160 Wh extender is fitted.
- Geometry dates to the 2022 platform and was left unchanged in the relaunch — competitive but no longer cutting-edge (Velomotion).
- Canyon Direct only — no local Baltic dealer, so warranty and service mean shipping back to Koblenz; mullet-only with no 29" full option.
