Algupära
Pathlite:ON on Canyon'i e-matka-/e-SUV platvorm, mis on loodud kõikehõlmava elektrilise tarbejalgrattana, mis ühendab linnaliikuri ja kerge maastikusõiduri. Praegune põlvkond (uuendatud 2025. aastaks) jaguneb kaheks perekonnaks: Pathlite:ON SUV, mis kasutab Bosch'i täisvõimsusega Performance Line CX mootorit (85 Nm) koos 600-800 Wh akudega koormatud matkamiseks ja nädalavahetuse põgenemisteks, ning Pathlite:ONfly, mis kasutab kergemat Bosch Performance Line SX mootorit (55 Nm) koos 400 Wh akuga loomulikuma ja kergema sõidukogemuse jaoks. Mõlemal perekonnal on ühine MIK HD modulaarne pagasiruumi süsteem, reguleeritav juhtraua geomeetria ja Bosch ABS valikuliselt tipptasemel mudelitel. Vedrustuskahvel, integreeritud tuled, porilauad ja pagasiruum on standardvarustuses, nii et jalgratas on karbist välja võttes valmis igapäevaseks pendeldamiseks, perematkamiseks või konarlikel radadel seiklemiseks. See konkureerib Euroopa turul Riese & Müller Chargeri ja Cube Touring Hybrid Pro'ga.

- Versatile across paved paths, gravel, fire roads and loaded family touring; comfortable upright ride
- Heavy — 23.5 kg entry up to 28.4 kg flagship; a real handful to lift, carry up stairs or manage without motor assist
- Entry coil-sprung fork (SR Suntour XCM34) lacks high-speed bump compliance and adjustability versus air forks
- Hardtail with upright utility geometry — not suited to technical singletrack or sporty/fast group riding
- Premium trims get expensive (flagship 9 LTD SUV ~£5,249), eroding the value advantage at the top of the range
- Heavy reliance on the smartphone/eBike Flow app to unlock Smart System features; on the AXS flagship the derailleur uses its own separate battery
