Grand Canyon on Canyon'i pikaajaline alumiiniumist kõvakas ja üks brändi sisseastumismudelitest — paljudele Euroopa sõitjatele oli see nende esimene 'päris' mägiratas. Seda on toodetud alates 2010. aastate algusest ja see on läbinud mitu põlvkonda, kuid valem on jäänud järjepidevaks: hüdrovormitud alumiiniumraam, 100-120 mm vedrustuskahvel, 29-tollised rattad täiskasvanute suurustel (27,5 väiksematel raamidel, 24 Young Hero lasteversioonil), kaasaegne rajale kalduv geomeetria (lamedam roolipea nurk, pikem ulatus kui tüüpilistel XC ratastel) ja hind, mis algab alla 700 €. Praegune põlvkond ühildub dropper-postiga kõrgematel spetsifikatsioonidel ja kasutab sisemist kaablivedu. See kattub Canyon'i e-MTB valikuga Grand Canyon:ON (€2,799-€3,499), mis kasutab Bosch Performance Line CX mootorit. Mitteelektriline Grand Canyon on positsioneeritud kui taskukohane igapäevane MTB — mitte kõige kergem, mitte kõige kiirem, kuid rajale sobiv ja ehitatud kestma sõitjatele, kes soovivad tõelist kõvakat ilma butiikpreemiata.
