Algupära

Endurace'i mudelit tutvustati 2014. aastal kui Canyon'i esimest selgelt pikamaasõiduks mõeldud maanteeratast – lõdvema geomeetriaga kui Ultimate, kasutades brändi VCLS (Vertical Compliance, Lateral Stiffness) torukuju ja tänaseni kasutusel olevat iseloomulikku lõhestatud võlliga VCLS istmeposti. Algne 2014. aasta CF mudel ühendas 1 040 g kaaluva raami 25 mm rehvidega 18 mm siselaiusega DT Swiss velgedel, samal aastal ilmus ka paralleelne Endurace AL alumiiniumversioon. Nelja põlvkonna jooksul on platvorm järk-järgult lähenenud Aeroad'ile – 2026. aasta põlvkond, mida BikeRadar hindas kui 'terve päeva sobivusega aeroratast', lisab 38 mm rehvivaba ruumi, ülemise toru hoiukinnitused ja LOAD sisemise raamihoidla CF SLX mudelil. CFR lipulaev on nüüd positsioneeritud kui professionaalne Roubaix' võistlusratas. Aus kokkuvõte: see pole enam pehme pikamaamasin, vaid kiire kõik-teedel võistlusratas mitteprofessionaalidele.
