Algupära

Nimi Specialissima ilmus esmakordselt Bianchi terasest võidusõiduratastel 1958. aastal kui Campione del Mondo areng, mida Fausto Coppi sõitis 1950. aastatel. 1960. aastatel domineeris see Felice Gimondi all Giro d'Italias ja mudelist sai lahutamatu osa Celeste-värvilisest kergest ronimistraditsioonist - kõige kuulsamalt seostatakse seda Marco Pantaniga, kes tegi brändi surematuks Alpide tõusudel 1990. aastatel. Bianchi äratas dünastia ellu 2015. aastal täissüsinikust ronimislipplaevana, millel on alla 780g raam ja patenteeritud Countervail vibratsiooni summutav kiht, mis töötati välja koostöös USA kosmosetööstuse ettevõttega Materials Sciences Corporation. Praegune kolmanda põlvkonna Specialissima RC, mida on täiustanud Reparto Corse koostöös WorldTour sportlastega, kaalub 6,6 kg täiskomplektina ja jääb Bianchi sihipäraseks relvaks mägede jaoks.
