Mitteelektriline Helix oli Bergamonti igapäevane matka- ja pendelrattasõidutööhobune 2010. aastate keskpaigast kuni 2020. aastate alguseni, olles üks samm allpool sportlikumat Vitessi ja üks samm üle linna Sponsor. 'Tour' märgis ja nummerdatud varustustasemed Helix 4, 5, 6 ja 7 viitasid kõik samale 28-tollisele alumiiniumist matkaratta platvormile — täismudakaitse, tagumine pagasiriiul, integreeritud tuled, ergonoomilised Ergon käepidemed, lukustusega vedrustusega kahvel — müüdi kui kõikehõlmav jalgratas igapäevaseks pendelrändeks ja kergeks mitmepäevaseks matkaks Balti / Põhjamaade asfaldil ja tihendatud kruusal. Helix 7 oli kõrgeim mitte-elektriline varustustase ja selle jaemüügihind oli umbes 999 €. Alates 2024. aastast lõpetas Bergamont tõhusalt abistamata Helixi ja kasutas nime uuesti oma uue Bosch SX e-matkaplatvormi jaoks (vt E-Helixi kanne), nii et mitte-elektriline Helix Tour on nüüd kasutatud jalgrataste turg. Siiski on endiselt aktiivne järelturg, kuna platvorm jagab kinnitusi ja geomeetriat uue e-Helixi raamiga.

Verdikt
- Excellent value — Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, air/coil suspension fork with lockout and full trekking equipment (mudguards, rack, lights) at a sub-€1000 price point.
- Comfortable, stable upright geometry and Schwalbe Smart Sam tires make it confidence-inspiring and versatile on both tarmac and packed gravel.
- Quality finishing kit on the top trim — Ergon GA30 grips and SFC30 saddle plus Syncros cockpit improve comfort over typical budget hybrids.
- 63 mm Suntour fork is well-damped, doesn't bottom out harshly, and takes the edge off rough surfaces without harsh jolts to the arms.
- Wide gearing options across trims (1×12 SRAM Eagle 11-50T on Helix 7, 2×9 Shimano on Helix 6) suit loaded touring and hilly commutes.
- On the way out — Bergamont retired the non-electric Helix; the name was reused for a 2024+ slopestyle/dirt MTB and a Bosch e-trekking platform, so it is now a used-market-only bike with confusing model overlap.
- Heavy for a fitness/hybrid — ~13.9 kg (Helix 7) up to ~15.8 kg (fully-equipped Helix 6 EQ), notably above the hybrid average.
- The suspension fork adds dead weight and offers limited benefit, especially on lower trims where the budget coil unit is not very effective.
- Stock entry-level platform pedals give poor grip in the wet and are unsuitable for any off-road use.
- Component spec varies widely by trim and model year (3×9 → 2×9 → 1×12), making used-market shopping and parts-matching confusing.
