Algupära
Stout oli Ampleri vastus sõitjale, kes soovis kõike juba esimesest päevast peale külge pandud — porilauad, pakiraam, integreeritud tuled, mugav püstine istumisasend — ilma et peaks loobuma Amplerile omasest tavalisest jalgratta välimusest. Välja antud 2018. aastal teise põlvkonna sarja osana, sai sellest brändi kõige täielikumalt varustatud linnamudel ja see, mis tõestas, et Eesti idufirma suudab toota viimistletud igapäevakasutuseks mõeldud toodet, mis konkureeris Saksa ja Hollandi vanade tegijatega viimistluse poolest. Raami klassikaline teemantgeomeetria ja 170-200 cm sõitja pikkuse vahemik tegid sellest loomuliku valiku pikematele Balti pendelrändajatele. Tootmine lõpetati 2024. aasta mudelivaliku uuendusega, kui Ampler koondus Kõu Mobility Groupi all Nova / Nova Pro / Curt kolmiku ümber, kuid märkimisväärne kasutatud jalgrataste park ringleb endiselt Baltikumis ja Põhja-Euroopas — paljud URBALTi kuulutused on Stoutid.

- Looks like a normal bike — hidden battery and discreet hub motor make it inconspicuous
- Very light for a fully-equipped e-bike (~17 kg), lively even before the motor engages
- Quiet, smooth motor with responsive torque-sensor assistance
- High-quality finish and components (Shimano hydraulic discs, Continental tyres, 36-spoke wheels)
- Clean, well-regarded smartphone app for modes, range and diagnostics; comes fully kitted (lights, rack, mudguards)
- Battery is non-removable — the whole bike must be brought indoors to charge
- 250 W / 50 Nm motor is modest and struggles on steep climbs
- Limited low-end gearing makes hilly terrain harder
- Real-world range drops sharply in hilly conditions (~36 km tested vs ~70 km claimed)
- You pay a premium largely for the looks and integration rather than raw performance
